AI product design for teams shipping AI features
We design the parts of an AI product that people touch: the prompt, the answer, the loading and error states, and the moments when it is not sure.
Who this is for
- 01
Founders adding AI to a product
Your model works. The screens around it do not explain what it can do.
- 02
Teams whose users distrust answers
We design sources, confidence and an easy way to edit or retry.
- 03
Startups building an AI MVP
You need screens and a clickable prototype before engineering starts.
We design around your model. We do not train or host models.
How an AI project runs
- 1
Understand the model
We learn how it behaves, how long it takes and how it fails.
- 2
Map the interaction
Where AI appears, what users ask for and what they get back.
- 3
Design the states
Empty, loading, streaming, error and "not sure", plus answer formats.
- 4
Prototype and hand off
A clickable prototype with sample answers, then dev-ready components.

Questions
Do you build or train the model?
No. We design the product around your model and work with your engineers. We ask for access early.
What do you design for an AI product?
A map of where AI appears, example prompts, answer formats, loading, error and "not sure" states, 20 to 30 core screens, a prototype and a dev-ready handoff.
How much does it cost?
From $3,500 as a fixed-scope Product Design Sprint, or from $8,500 if we also build it. Design Partner is $1,990 a month.
Can you also build the front end?
Yes, in React and Next.js, so what you approve in Figma is what gets built.
How fast can we start?
We aim to start within 5 business days after the scope and first payment are agreed.
Have an AI feature to design or fix?
Book a call and get honest feedback, even if we are not the right fit.
